TECC is designed for responders who must be able to assess and treat casualties in a variety of tactical situations. Whether that environment is executing a high-risk warrant, in an office building, school, protest, structural collapse, or natural disaster; this program will prepare you to apply the latest tactical medical equipment and techniques. Lessons learned from military and civilian incidents keep this course on the cutting edge of domestic tactical medicine, while addressing the differences between the military and civilian tactical environments. Curriculum is developed by the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC), and updated regularly to maintain relevance.
Course utilizes classroom, skills sessions and scenario-based training to deliver material, and foster confidence in critical skills. This course is designed for all levels of Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue/EMS and security professionals. 16 hours of CAPCE CEUs provided upon completion.
NAEMT's TECC course is Endorsed by the American College of Surgeons, meets the guidelines established by the Committee on TECC and the updated National Tactical Emergency Medical Support Competency Domains. This course is accredited by CAPCE and recognized by NREMT.
NAEMT's TECC courses are taught by a global network of experienced, well-trained, experienced instructors. To support training centers, instructors and students, NAEMT maintains a network of tactical affiliate faculty both in the U.S. and internationally, and staff at its Headquarters Office.
